ok, i decided that i'm going to take about $700 out of my income tax return and put a system in my blazer... $700 isn't nearly enough for the amount of sound i want but its a good start. i'm gonna get a head unit and a couple subs with the 700 and use my following paycheck to get an amp... and build from there. my dads a good wood worker so i'm going to have him build me a custom box. any suggestions?

This is what I did, it cost about $30 in materials. The actual enclosure from the sub is 1" thick. I do need to find some better matching carpet though.
