whats in it now? a 3.4 isn't that good even if it is from a camaro, a 3.4 is a small v-6. if you are going to do a swap, go for a v8. but i don't know.. now that i think about it, you never see a 3.4 in a blazer. the only way i would do it is you build the f**k out of the camaro engine after you get it in there.

i cant recall ever seeing one, all i can think of seeing is the 2.8 or 4.3:confused: , but i could be wrong; i have horrible short term, if you know what i mean:smoker: . also coleb, back to your ?, if your gonna do the 3.4, it should be easy, because it might use the same mounts.MIGHT.

The 3.4 is almost a direct bolt in for the 2.8. Little has to be changed for that swap. I've heard that its way easier than acutually swapping for the 4.3. Find MADMIKE, or send him personal message. He knows a ton on this swap.

Its 160 hp and 195 lbs of tq. Its a bolt in for the 2.8. Not supposed to be a performance engine. Although I' have read about hop up kits for like 200-250 hp for them

I was somewhat close...
haha
underrated the hp and over rated the tq..

hehe not to take away readers from this board, but i frequent here and the board at www.s-series.org. they have info about a few other engine swaps besides v8s in their forums. i havent looked into them because i havent had much interest in a diff v6 swap, but im sure you can find something helpful there.
