Hey, I want to install some blocks and I wanted to know a few things. Like what tools will I need. Jacks and Jackstands and all that. Where exactly do I put these for the easiest installations. I've searched the boards here and found some info, but I just want some definate answers. Where do I put the stands? Will I need to raise the whole axel, or can I do one at a time? What about this nipple thing, cut it off and drill, do I have to? Any other helpful hints would be great. Thanks.

it might not be the safest way in the world, but when i installed mine (keep in mind that i am 15, thats how simple installing them is) but all i used is the factory jack and did one side at a time. i left the nipple thing on, it secured when i tightened it enough. what brand blocks do you have?

Well I'm only 17 with just about no mechanical skills at all. This is my first time doing some work for myself. I don't know if its a good or bad brand, but I got them at Autozone for 25 bucks, 2" blocks plus the U-bolts. I think they are called Motormite. Suspension Solutions Performance Series. Its a Universal Ride Height Kit.

your going to need a 3/4 deep well shocket i think. jack it up and put the jack stand as close to the back on the frame as you can. loosen the u bolts.use the jack now to raise the rear end up once you have taken the u bolts out. raise it enough to fit the block under it lower it down put the new u bolts in and tighten it down. hope i didn't forget anything

Belltech recommends torquing the bolts to 80 ft-lbs. I would assume thats good for your kit too.
