I'm almost ready to paint my 1990 jimmy......But i have no idea what colour to paint it ? The only reason why this is such a hard choice is because the interior is a ugly dark red:mad:. Now should i just forget about the ugly interior and paint it any colour i like or should i just paint it a colour that blend's with the car....What whould you do
P.S If you have any idea's on what colour i should paint my truck tell......it whould really help

Either black or really dark purple.

I would go with the purple on some of the 1995 or so Impala SS's, a purple color would go good with the red interior.

 I Too am going for a new silver paint, But I'm going for a dark silver, kind of a metalic GRAY... I thought it sounded good. BUT BlazinGray???
My question is a paint question. I have seen these cars with that paint color and others, but like all NEW cars the panit is now put on with um... electro-static paint... your guess is as good as mine. Can you use that paint in a normal paint gun or not? or will I have to keep rubbing bollons aganst my Blazer to get the paint to stick?:D

Blazinblue,
An electrostatic paint job is definately the best paint job available. But don't count on being able to do one yourself. It's not speacial paint, but special equipment. The gun and everything costs around $4,000-7,000. It actually staticly charges the paint particles so that they pull to the car (which is grounded) like a magnet. Anyway I would just stick with a HVLP gun.

I have a silver truck and I haven't washed it in the two years I've had it and it still looks good.
