I finally dug the ol' girl out of storage and got the heater cable fixed and the dash all put back together. It'll be back on daily driver duty for a couple of days while the zr2 is in for rust...
I haven't visited the forum for some time. I still have the 'ol '89 Blazer, I haven't done anything to it for probably a year now. I just moved it into storage for the winter, I didn't want it...
Honestly, I've kinda got bored with the lowered 2wd stuff. I have a '96 s10 SS also, it has the zq8 suspension so I get my handling kicks from it. I just picked up a 2000 blaZeR2 for my 4wd have fun...
Seeing you get work done on yours makes me want to get something done with mine. It's kind of taken a back seat to other projects. Your Blazer is lookin good though!
I pop in from time to time to see what's new. I've still got my Blazer, haven't made any progress on it. Tossed around the idea of selling it as I've kinda lost interest in it. I may get back on it...
Do you have pics of the front fenders? Price on the bumper cover?
That mutha thumpr cam sounds great. Is it pretty streetable?
That's a little more than I wanted to spend. lol I only gave $200 for the truck they're goin on. Looks like a set of salvage yard stockers will have to do. :apologetic:
I just did a quick search on eBay and couldn't find these, are they still available?

Checking in, wow the forum has slowed down...
I like those better than the regular xtreme wheels.
These are replicas, but the price isn't bad. http://www.ebay.com/itm/280769135248?_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649&item=280769135248&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&vxp=mtr
I don't know about you guys, but since the economy took a sh!t, I haven't had money to play with mine...
If I remember right, you'll have to pull the pushrods to get the lim gasket out. Check out www.w-body.com or www.60degreev6.com, I'm sure one of those sites will have a how to.:D
Here ya go:...
x2 on the Felpro problem solver kit. Just did the intake gaskets on my '94 3.1 grand prix for the second time, used the problem solver kit this time. The car will quit before the intake leaks again.
Good looking Blazer, and great job on producing the video.
Personally, I would upgrade to a Walbro pump. http://www.s10planet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25158

If I'm not stuck at work I'd be game to check it out. It doesn't smell so bad here now since the Tyson plant closed down, all they do here now is process hamburger....
I haven't logged in for quite a while. I'm saddened to hear of his passing.
