    Steering

    I JUST FINISHED PUTTINIG A 350 IN MY BLAZER . I USED THE ADVANCE ADAPTERS MOUNT RELOCATERS AND HEDMAN HEADERS AND REUSED THE STOCK MOTOR MOUNTS, THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I GET IN THE THROTTLE HARD THE HEADER BINDS UP AGINST THE STEERING SHAFT. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM???? SHOULD I GET POLYURETHANE MOUNTS OR SOLID ONES?? I THAUGHT THE SOLID ONES MIGHT GIVE ME TROUBLE SINCE I USED THE ADAPTERS ANY ADVICE WOULD HELP:D

    did you relocate the steering column towards the outside of the vehicle yet?

    You can also move the column to give the more clearance when the motor moves.

    I used Solid mounts on the street, most of these are designed as bolt in replacements although making your own is easy. The Solid mounts put noticable engine vibration in the car, but it was also a non-driveable weekend warrier.
