    lowering a 4x4 for cheap

    Hi, I was wondering would would be a cheap way to lower a 4x4 jimmy. I would only like to drop it about 2 or 3 inches, I don't want bags yet. Thanks

    well there are only 3 ways of doing it. #1 is loosening the torsion bar bolts, this will give you 1"- 2" #2 is the torsion bar trick, this will get you down 6" - 7" CLICK HERE FOR T-BAR TRICK and #3 is buying that expensive 4x4 drop kit from Belltech, oh ya and then you can bag it. Good Luck

    u can remoce your tortion bolts and get about an 1-3 inches and get rear lowering blocks for about $30

    thier are many ways to drop the front of a 4x4 for cheap. search the 4x4 forum and youll see how many ways thier are to get the adjuster key to rotate down

    if you only want two inches or so, just unscrew the bolts, and buy blocks, but if i were you i would do the torsion trick it isn't hard, and it looks hella nice, i just did it today back to my truck, i decided if it snows, shit happens.
    85 4x4
    dropped 5" back 7" front
    bumpy as hell

    yeah what they said...unscrew the bolts...that what i did and it looks good

    With the belltech lowering kit on dose it make your blazer ride really ruff
