    Body Dropped Blazer tonight...=o)

finally i got the thing sitting on the ground.!!!!!!!

and i just wanted to say thanks to all the people out there you answered my " body drop" questions .

i have done everything on my truck so far and i was goin to pay someone to do the body drop but all my friends told me to do it my self , so i started asking questions and one thing lead to another .

i will post more pics later i took all types of pics whie i wasgoing along, all i have to do now is weld everything up.

anyone in here ever kept the factory wheel wells with the body drop? i cut mine high so i got to keep the factory look in the rear.

    thanks alot everyone ,

    jeff

ya im not to sue how the paint is going to look tis summer with the bigger wheels andbody dropped , the paint wa when i had 13X7's and Hydraulics went really well with that.

but i just painted it lastyear and only had it out a few times so i want to try to roll it just this summer .

i already have my new paint , but not planning on painting it till fall.

the body drop is easy its getting it ready that takes a while.

i Gutted EVERYTHING out of the truck , just the shell.

i did a few things different than other people , like where you cut the back out around the taligate i cut the rear section of frame and lowered to cut the back out aout 4 inches in , so my tailgate hinges where never touched and it works perfect. also i cut the wheel wells high on the inside and let them riase with the floor so i have the look of a stock floor in the rear.

to answer your question after it was all gutted it took about and hour . it also helps and alittle fast that i have a Plasma Cutter.

didnt take me an hour to do the whole body drop, took me an hour to cut the fire wall and the floor out to lay it down.

i completly gutted the truck before i started.

so before you go off accusing people of being hacks ask first, i take my work and my truck seriously and i am far from a hack..

so if i took that remark the wrong way im sorry for acting like a di@k, if i too it the right way i am just setting the record straight.

im not here to start anything i was simply thanking everyone here who help me out in info on this subject , and showing my progress.

    well just my $.02
