with a th350 and 4:11 gears you will have a top speed of a whopping 88 mph...

How do ya figure? If your going 13's your going faster than 88 mph, my car does 13's @ 104. BTW go with 3:73's for good all around gearing, My Chevelle cruises @ 60mph at about 3000rpm with 373's a th350 and 275 60 15's

O.k so you guys gotta let me know roughly what i would be running on the 1/4 mile....i kina need to know this, so i can compare my truck against some other shit...

I have 225 RWHP, about 270- 290 to the flywheel, and i have 371 FT/LBS of torque to the rear wheels. i have a tpi 350 from an 87 vette, with an auto tranny. with a shift kit and i have dual flowmasters, and intake, no posi and i have 265's on the back...the truck is a 4x4. so its a little heavy...
my gears are probably a 3.42 or somthing, i duno!

so if you guys need to know anything else about my shit let me know, but i gotta know what my truck would run in 1/4, im estimating high 13's ???

my friend said that if he dropped a type R motor in his civic he it would run low 13's to 12's just from the conversion, im calling bullshit on that! could it be true?

I think I did the calculation with 205/50/15's..... with a 1.00 final drive with 4.11's and it came out to 88 mph......

You sure that 111 is at the end of third gear? it gives a 1/2/3/4/5 usually for 5 gears on the site that I used.....

ok your right if you use a 205/50/15 and 4.11 gears a big 88-89 mph at 5500.I use the virtual engine calculator V2.20,I have the site you use too at smokemup.com and it showed about 1 mph difference, probably because of the torque converter slip setting.
I thought you used a bigger tire like the 275/60/15 which is 28 inches tall and the 205/50/15 is around 23 inches.
