    Really, you could do that with out ever removing the cross member. Just jack it up and cut out the bean holes, put the blocks back in and whallah!

    its not that hard to take out the xmember ctown....will be much easier with it out ESPECIALLY if you have a newer 4x4 (88+?) that has that extra cross member covering the one that holds the keys

    alright you lazy bitches, im going to sell that cross member in the how to all done and painted with black paint ready to bolt on and ill include two 1/4" steel plates to replace the block to get the full 5" drop for a whopping $40+shipping

    yep it will work 2nd gens...you can adjust from 5" drop to 1-2" above stock height

    Well, I beat mine for days until I finally gave up and drilled out the keys like I did. An '89 in Ohio that's seen every winter since and used to have a plow on it can be so rusty it's like a weld!
