    dual exhaust

im thinking about putting a dual exhaust on my 98 blazer 4x4. i found a guy that will put a flowmaster single in dual out. he said for $300 he would put it on including price of the muffler. he said he would hang it with hangers, i dont think he will weld it.

does this sound like a good deal?whats a good price?and should i get it welded instead?

sounds like a good deal n price since a guy wanted $385 to do it to my 91 but I read somewhere that the dual exhaust takes away from either low end torque or robs it of some power but I think that was just with my 91

What I got done for $40 US....

A 2.5" pipe straight off the y-pipe and into my Flowmaster ... All welded up, hung and with a dump before my rear axle. That means no cat, and no ugly ass exhaust pipe comming from the rear.

I got it done at a local shop near me named Action Muffler. I got it for so cheap because they are very cheap. They do awsome work, and they have a life time warrenty for all the welds and pipe.

They guy that did my exhaust it a fucking moron. He didnt wear any eye protection when he was chopping my old shit out with a torch, and he was wearing a light shade cutting goggles when he was welding it all up. For some of the welds, he didn't have anything to protect his eyes.

I got dual exhaust straight pipes out the back for $170 installed, it sounds real nice. I'ts 2" pipe because thats all he could fit but I lowered it 2" later and it still clears.

    dual exaust

it was all custom pipe bent at some local redneck exhaust and tire place but that was in oregon, wisconsin, so I'm sure you will have to go someplace else like that.
