More of my dropped 4x4 pics

Just got my front dropped another 1/4inch yesterday, waiting for the torsion bar to settle so it'll go down a little more
and just got dual exhaust a couple days ago too, dual flowies 40series! its hella loud, now I just need a rollpan.. :)

3" blocks and removed 1 leaf on each side in the rear
and for the front, I had the crossmember drilled out so the torsion key can come down lower, I might have the spacer shaved down 1/4inch so I can go even lower too
very cheap lowering, I paid $30cad for the blocks and the rest you can do yourself all for free

very nice!!:bigthumb: do you guys notice how people are now able to drop their 4x4's without much trouble? this is a good thing. Looks like Belltech will have those drop keys on the shelf for a pretty long time.

Yea I bought the belltech kit at first too, for $500cad, but I didnt wanna pay another 500 to have it installed (that's what mopac quoted me), so I returned it, then I later on found out there's a way cheaper way to do it and get more of a drop out of it too. :)

edit: This is mooman, at v8envy's house, forgot to log out of his user first!! :nono:

Well I dont have alot more room to go down in the front, the bump stop is trimmed and if I go any more lower than say half to 1 inch I'll be sitting on the bump stops

Yea next time I jack my truck up i'll snap some pics for ya
I'm probably gonna jack it up the next dry day, and pull out the spacers in the crossmember where the torsion key sits on, and take it to a machine shop and have them shave it down a quarter inch, so i can go a bit lower

Next dry day...oh MOO your so funny. It's spring time and Summer, we get rain here in the Lower Mainland, remember. You and V8 should come out to our April 19th meet at around 1pm at A&W on 200th. Wouldn't mind checking out your suspension setup up front. Though about doing it to the '98 but it's going up for sale sometime soon probably, so can't do it.

    Nate
