    heres the torsion key that i made up usong the old key and a new longer bolt...i welded it to the frame with a thick bead of weld... on of the keys is welded on a bit of an angle so im going to have to redo it..

    that is a tight setup u did there. i would have done something similar to it, but i do not have a f-ing welder. lol. dosen't mean i can't do it. lol. take some pics of the bolts unscrewed all the way out. like pictures of the truck sititng on the ground not on the air.

    it lowers it from 0-6.5 inch
    the bolt is about 3 inches long but I custom made it from a stud and welded a nut to it...

    about the pics of the truck.....

    you can't really see the drop cause the femders arent on but..i'll see if i can get some pics.....

    here's my inner fenders all painted up...:D

    heres the engine finally out....



    the torsion bar bolts i made from exhaust studs and welded a nut to the top of the key...i think i might have to redo it cause those studs might not be strong enough...

    it actually went pretty smooth pulling the old engine...i only broke the throttle position sensor that tells the tranny when to kick down gears and shift...but thats ok cause i have to use a different tranny anyways.....
