"knock" sound coming from rear axle when gas is applied

Hey...Well I had my blazer lowered 3x3 before (coils and blocks) then this weekend i pulled a leaf. When im driving and im going slow, if i hit the gas it makes a "knock" sound that comes from the rear axle area. This also happens if im going fast and i let off the gas then hit it again....it feels like the gears are engaging or something? Im not really sure cuz I dont know much about engines/drivetrains but if someone could help me out thatd be great.

I have the same problem, it doesn't happen ALL the time. If I drive for a long distance...then I drive slow I can hear the KNOCKING noise. Sometimes it just happens at random. You can feel it too. Slim when you figure out what that noise is, let me know.

Could it be because when i was pulling a spring, the drive train or whatever cane out of the rest of it near the front/middle. It fell on the ground, so I just slid it back in...it did loose some oil tho.

Yes, you should C-notch, NO, Ubolts are not the same as U-Joints..u=Universal joints, they are the big 4 prong things connected to each end of your drive shaft... The bearings in these can deteriorate over time causing knocks and eventual failure... You can get new ones for about 25 bux...
