    heads on a 85 and 88 2.8

    does anyone know if the head on a 85 2.8 are the same as the ones on a 88

    no they are not. but i belive they still interchange. :D

    as far as my guess goes they will interchange with out problem. I changed 85 and 86 so dont quote me on that.

    the compression ratio is different between 85 & 88.82-85 are one style and 86-93 are another style.compression chambers play a role in your performance.

    They will interchange and the 88's have a higher flow rate too.:bigthumb:

    oh ok

    i have the 85 heads just laying around for a rainy day, i wasn't for sure if they would work before i put money in them

    the 85 heads have smaller combustion chambers and will up the compreesion ratio.you will have some more power out of it.you will notice it a little.does make a differance.
