    seafoam

Hey, i bought a couple of bottles of that seafoam and when i was done adding some, it didnt really smoke at all, i dont think it worked. I uses 3/4 of a bottle the first time and let it set for 45mins and drove it, so the second time i did it again a different way and it smoke just a little bit.

Did i do it wrong? i added it through the brake vaccume line. How fast are you supposed to put it in, and is there supposed to be air and seafoam going in throught the line at the same time or what?

    Thanks

ha, ok, well, its a really really good cleaner. you get your master brake line and have it suck the liquid up through it and it goes throughout the valves and lifters, basically through the whole engine. Anyways, it cleans out all the black carbond deposits. Its real good stuff, i recomend you use it. Your idle will be smoother and the engine will run better.

hmm....this is the second post i've read about sea-foam not making alot of smoke. I think they might have just changed the forumula so it doesn't make so much smoke.

Hello Superbee, I always pour seafoam down the carb while the motor is runnung until it basically stalls. I let it sit and then I fire it up. Usually smokes the neighborhood out. You said that you poured down the brake booster hose? I have never had to seafoam a injected motor yet. hope this helps SSB

i think the problem is i never let it stall it out and it burned it off before it could work.
