    Bye-Bye A/C...

I have my 2.8 completley ready to pull but I want to get the A/C completely removed befor the Pull. How do I get the freon removed? One of my friends said to let it leak out... I thought that was a good idea but i also thought that was illegal and would put a whole in the Ozone layer too. Got any Ideas or stories of how you did? PLEASE TELL!! ASAP!

    Gone Already

Did the A/C work before the swap?

If it wasn't working too well and the vehicle is older it might be empty already.

I did a swap on my 90 blazer and tried to keep the A/C,cruise,and heater.

After I was done I found that the heater cores kept blowing up, and the cruise didn't work and the A/C blew warm.

The A/C was empty and it worked OK before the swap so check it first.

The heater problem is fixed, no heater or climate controls for that matter.

The cruise didn't work for the same raeson my brakes barely work. TOO MUCH CAM.

    Hope this helps.

well see... My throtal body is gone do to a lil engine fire quickly desposed but not soon enough. in other words if my /Blazer is going anywhere befor the swap its on a trailer. I wish I knew some kind of servise that would make house calls or somthing becuse I can buy beer 10 times E-Zr than I can find a trailer. I NEED AAA! and as for the A/C working I really don't know b/c only my lower air vents work so I didn't feel the A/C when I turned it on so I kept it off so I wouldn't waste any of my 2.8s little horsies It had.

ANY IDEA WELLCOME OR if any of you are near Tulsa, Okla. and have a trailer E-mail me
