What one of these do i need for the most 'powerfull/mean' sound, there is 5 to choose from, want to make sure i get the right one ?? Only $38 on ebay, seller has 100% positive feedback so it looks legit....I'll probably buy it here instead of $80 somewere else!! (even with shipping it's only $48!!)

what do you guys think? give me the link of what one of them i need PLZ?!?!?

I'm sure some of u guys will benefit from this ebay 'by it now' as well!! $38 compaired to $80....

you can install it yourself, if the muffler is shorter, you can buy an adapter pipe at AZ or pep boys for a few dollars. they come in all different diameters and lengths.

Cool someone actually used my sound clip :D, Anways...I just thought I'd let you know. My exhaust uses all the factory piping, its a single in single out muffler. I got the muffler AND installation for $85 flat, and he welded it and did a good job of it aswell. You CAN get a larger pipe but the 2.25 should be enough since its just a 4.3 and not a larger engine. You want to keep enough backpressure so you dont loose torque.

sleeper cars and trucks are made to be fast but dont look like it ....cars that u never would think are fast when u look or hear them....some dont even have loud exhaust so they sound stock. basically sleepers are the exact opposite of rice burner import shit......sleeper-looks slow but is fast.......import- looks fast but is slow

pretty much every mod u do will increase HP.....exhaust system and ait intake mods are where to start....if u want a super fast blazer u should prob do the 350 v8 conversion since thats all i hear about on this board.....ive never drove or seen a 350 blazer so i really coulnt tell u miuch about it

I don't want crazy fast, i just wanna work with the engine i got! it runs mint and only has 78,500 original miles (my parents owned it since new and kept it as a second car....Mostly kept in the garage and was only driven in winter cause it was good in the snow, now my dad has the dodge ram (my avatar) and that thing is really good in the snow so he gave me the blazer!

So i'd like to keep the currant engine and maybe when this has like 200k then i'll do a swap to a 350 V8 maybe (cause i'll be older by then anyways..)

What's some mods to the 4.3 i can do that will make a noticable differance in pickup and speed and stuff?

hey, here is what i did, i went to midas, go from the cat back completley redone with 2.5 inch all the way and a flowmaster 40. the pipe gave it a low tone also. It cost me $163 for all of it, well worth it in my opinion.

OH, for mods, here is what i did, (and i do notice a difference)

K&N filter with open element $60
    flowmaster exhaust, (listed above) $163
    Universal 16in electric fan $70
    180 thermostat $12

I have 255's for rear tires and i can spin them at quarter throttle if the road isnt real rough, I love it, i noticed a big difference. I highly suggest the fan and thermostat. Easy to do. Takes about 4 to 6 hrs max with basic hand tools.

Hey superbee, just a few questions..what are 225s ? how much $? Where can i get a Fan and Thermostat & what do they do to help increase performance ? and is there special kinds or do they all fit all trucks ? cause i wouldn't know where to start- how do u go about installing them ? where do they hook up and go to and from?....... but for Fan $70 & thermostat $12 if they help increase performance i'll buy them no doubt.

    Thanks.

Could you beat a ricer in your 4.3 Blazer? I beat a Honda Civic with a turbo in my parents' Lincoln Town Car with 5 people in the car.... So I'm willing to say.. yea. you could. LOL

255's, i was reffering to my tire size, 255's are fairly large and i was just saying i can spin them pretty easily. You can get a thermostate and electric fan at any parts store like advanced auto parts. For the thermostate, there arent any brand names or anything you need to look for just get a 180 degree thermostate. And make sure you tell them you also want the gasket and some silicon for it. For the e-fan, i got a universal 16" from autozone. I wouldnt worry about getting a brand name one or anything, the one I got blows plenty to keep the engine cool.

The thermostate will make it run cooler, and a cooler engine and engine bay will mean more power. As for the fan, without the clutch fan, thats one less thing the engine has to turn, it will rev faster and its alot quieter too. You dont hear that annoying ROAR from the engine.
