295/45/18 on the back of a first gen?

    Anyone have this size?
Pretty tall tire, think Lightning size.

I know a 295/35/18 will fit without too much trouble but I want to fill out the wheelwell a little more than that. Thinking 10" or 10.5 rim.

I should be able to tuck that slightly with the right offset shouldn't I?

So you know that the 295/35/18's will fit? I wanna run those on my next set of 18's.

Sorry, I can't help out too much though. They should be just about as wide as each other. I don't see a problem with the other ones just being taller. How much drop??

    295 45 18 is a to tall of a tire at 28.4 inches tall id serioulsy look into just 295 40 18 or 285 40 18.

18x10 5.5 bs should work no probs

So I've been told. I know I had more than 3/4" to play with when I had the 275/40/17's on there, so they shouldn't be a problem as long as the offset is right.

The truck is dropped 3/4 now. I want to go 4/5.

Too tall as in I'm gonna be rubbing the top of the inner fender on a bump or what?

Find me a 295/40. I don't think that size exists.

285/40... too close to my old 275's. Too small, gotta have that extra 10mm. :D

I thought 10" was too wide to tuck on a 1st gen?

Is the 295 about the widest I can go without too much trouble? The only reason Im getting another set of 18's is to run a lot wider rubber.

I meant too small as in width, not height.
Hell, If I could get a 335 back there without major surgery I would.
