so the wd40 did stop it for ahile? you could always try some beter lubricant. like prolong spray. thats the best, or some silicone spray lubricant. tho dont spray it anywhere where you paint. or the oil crap will get onto everything. best to spray outside.
im not worring about my squicking....... i never hear it with my stereo on. so whatever. :)

I also heard that some GM's have a problem with creakin noises in the rear spring bushings. Sometimes they have to be swapped out for the urethane or plastic variety to get rid of the noise.

ya come to think of it that would make sense where its comen from!!!!
    good work dude,,,,,,,,, :)
might just work by geting some ball bearing grease and pack in thier good on the rear bushings. those should probably be the main source of the noise.
might just be geten worn out. hell i know my trucks got 150K miles on it. so im sure ALOT of thinks are needing replaced

    It's not an age thing.

A firend of mine has a 2002 and it was like that from the factory.

He's a little pissed seeing that he bought a new truck that sounds like a 20 year old beater sometimes.

I'm having problems with squeaks in the rear. I hear a crick when I give it gas. I hear squeaks when I hit bumps. Most of the time if I stand on the running board and bounce I hear squeaks from the rear. Whats confusing me is that theres 2 different sounds. And it seems like its comming from the body mount. I really havent had a good chance to completly check out everything though.

Better yet, use something with a little more consistency. Even motor oil might be able to get in and stop it.

The friend I talked to in the above posts WD'd his bushing only to find that they would dry up pretty fast seeing that WD-40 doesn't have much of an oil to it.
