    "fins" or "ridges"

No one ever answeres the posts about Shaving the redges. I searched the sight and all the posts are either off subject or arent responded to http://www.blazinlow.com/forum/showt...ghlight=ridges
    or http://www.blazinlow.com/forum/showt...ghlight=ridges

Well hre is my question. Will this work? Im going to get the jigg

saw out cut away the "fins" one at a time. then take the cut out

peace use a hammar to pound it flat again.(saves$ on metal)

Then weld it in from the bottomside. By only issue with this

is .What will i have to do to make the roof not flimsey. Do i need

to make new support? or wedge something between the old

    braces and the roof?

Any help would be great thank you!:bigthumb:

just tack on sum support braces for the roof, and cut the entire section out and weld in a new roof.

Yep, just cut out the whole section if you must do it. All the head from welding the strips will probably warp it. Ive only seen that done once and it was the ugly blazer in trucking. and it had the roof cut out and a new panel welded in

Well see fixing up a car taked time. If you would like to put down my idea that fine go for it. But when both ur's and my car are in a truck show. Ill be the one with no fins. And why ? because i want to be different and have something done to mine that you could never do. Its called ambition. Wanting something done and geting it done no matter what it takes. so what if i have to spend 1 hr on a single freeking ridge. tack weld let it cool tack again. It will get dont i tell you that for damn sure and when u tell me i cant or just leve it there. this is for you. Just so i can say i told you so!
