3" block on 98 blazer.. flip rear brake line?

and it says to trim the bumpstops ONLYL FROM THE TOP... i have the rubber foam lookin ones that are mounted on the frame and pointing downward (spherical on the end).. what would be the "top" in my situation... i was just gonna shave off like a "section" worth of foam.. it has like 3 sections on the bumpstop... and are those metal cups around the bumpstop welded to the frame or bolted?

98+ blazers you can trim parts of the bumpstop off, don't take too much or it will not absorb shocks... Trim from the bottom up on the foam bumpstop, and the cup piece is welded to the bracket which is welded to the frame.

you dont' have to flip the brake lines, you can get a 5/8" heater hose and slice it down the middle, wrap the brake line, and use a ziptie to hold it down against the axle tube...

how do you keep the curve of the bumpstop? or it doesnt matter?
mine has like 3 ~1" sections.. can i shave the bottom section off?

and if you could give me more detail on the zip tie thing or a pic that would kick ass

    heres my current situation:

could you like.. edit that pic and highlight where it would be zip tied?

the reason for the new spindle design is that they went to a slip on rotor and a sealed bearing hub assembly you dont have to repack bearings when you do brakes but it costs 200 bucks when you need new bearings

    LMC updated their Catalog..

Looks like the body mounts are the same from 82-05 for 2 door and 91-05 for 4 doors. Or its just that these are just universal for all years.
