Thread: progress on the BOLT IN 4-Link kit for Second Gen four door.

    no modifacation to the gas tank or to the floor. So far I have bought from Jason...

    2 djustable lower four link bars
    1 Differential bracket un welded (needs to be modified)
    1 upper four link bar
    1 s-10 bag bar
    2 f9000 tapered bags


    You will also need...
    a bunch of 1/4 steel plate


    BY NO MEANS CALL UP JASON TO PLACE AN ORDER YET!!!!!

    ok cool, yeah know i am gonna wait till you figure it out if jason will put a kit together. so will you lay fram with a having to cut in to the floor? dude i cant wait to see pics! and get the setup!

    why the 9000's and not, say 2600s?

    I went with f9000 because the bag is behind the axle and I wanted the extra lift and better ride the f9000 give when the bag is behing the axel.

    I built the notch myself out of flat steel. It is about 3 inches, which should be more than enough to lay out even with a bump stop in there. With my 20's my frame was 2.5 inches from tera-firma. Gona be out of town for a few days. I hope to hit it hard on Sunday. I am running short on time before Greenville.

    its still coming I have been buisy and have not been able to work on it as much as I like. I did work on it some tonight. If all goes well I should be driving it this week end.

    been bustin my ass trying to get this thing ready for Greenville. Its all in. As of tonight I still need to weld up my shock brackets and put it all together for the final time. I think I may need to shorten my driveshaft, I will check that out Sunday.

    yep a half an inch. If I had not done that the wheells whould have not been centered at rid hight. They do roll forward a little when layed out. Gotta finnish plumbing the system and reinstall the gas tank tonight so we can go to Greenville tomarrow.
