    need different mufflers

Im looking for a loud muffler with a smooth sound and nothing high pitched, im thinking of hooker max flows or dynomax ultra flows but I cant find sound clips of them. Anyone know of any that sound like these ATRs ( http://www.exhaustsoundclips.com/sou...p_headers.html ) but deeper and maybe a bit quieter? Need something low and loud...
If you have a V8 any sound clips are welcome

    FLOWMASTER...

Best out there IMO. I have it on my 2.8L and it sounds like a V8... not obnoxious, but sounds throaty and powerful.

With a v8 they arent as smooth, have that odd fire cranking sound to them and sometimes sound too high... like that sound every f-body has

The mufflers that I am runnin are MagnaFlow stainless they sound real nice at idle but really sound good once your foot is in it. They are a bit expensive to buy like almost twice the price of Flowmasters but the are a flow thru design like a cherry bomb but do not at all sound like one. But if cost is an issue the Flowmaster 40 series mufflers are about the best sounding. They have sound on their website to listen to.

Yeah I like the sound of them, my friends use them on their turbo dodges... I wonder what what duals with no cats would sound like with a 350 though, I get the feeling they would be too close to strait pipes.

A guy that I once worked with had Flowmasters on his
fullsize chevy Z71, and it sounded like a log truck when
he would get on it. I'm not sure what series they were
but I do know that he was still running his cat's.
I'm better than some but not as good as other's!

    Flowmaster

On my V-8 blaze I'm running 2.5 off the headers into a flowmaster Y , 3" out into a single 3" flow 40 series with no cat, exits behind right rear wheel, sounds great. :boink:

Does anyone know which is louder between the hooker aero chambers and the max flows? I think Im going to get one of these, I have only one sound clip of the max flows and they sound awsome, and its just on a 302
