    No, you are not screwed if you do that, just put the old block back in.

    And also, no, you dont have to do anything to the keys, thats whats nice about this, no rusty parts need removed.

    ok so after you have your front jacked up off the ground, do u just drill the hole, then take your old key holder thing out, that originally had the bolt going straight up through it? i'm just wanting to make sure, cause thats the only part i don't get, will it just flop right out? how high up off the bottom of your crossmember is your bolt, and how low can u go with this method?

    i edited my original reply. i'm just goin to say this, obviously you don't know how 4x4 suspension works so the bolt trick is not for you. its safer than the key flip trick but once you go so far down your just goin to chew up tires.

    i understand how 4x4 suspension works, i just like to have all the steps explained in detail before i start tearing shit apart, it saves lots of time and headache!!!!!!

    well since thats the case heres a pretty good step by step with pictures! doesn't get much easier.
