Thanks, I do have a tendancy to forget things. Your little project here got me thinking about doing a grill for my Honda... it's a fairly small peice so i could make it from scratch... I just need some ideas for it.

So you gona chop off the entire side of s-10 grill, not just the middle stripe and mold it to a jimmy grille right? And leave that part of it under the turners that touch the bumpercover. Right?

Are the clips on jimmy grill in the exactly same spot as s series? Or are you gona have to mount it differently since you want to make it thinner? And you not gona have to chop the jimmy grill at all in the middle right?

Also, just a suggestion, I think it look better if you squared off the jimmy grill on the buttom corners so it would not have that triangular gap between it and the turn signals. But then again it doesnt look that big...

I have the orginal 98 grill right now it is slightly different then yours, i do not have a platic part that hang down below the turn signal, there is a trim peice that attaches to the bumper instead. i havent really looked to see if all the clips on jimmy grill line up, but i believe the top ones due. yes it will be mounted slightly differnt. yes the bottom trigular shape gap will not be there i am goning to tighten that gap up and take care of it.

I really want to see what it turns out like, so take lots of pics, because that seems to be custom as hell. Im thinking about doing that (if you dont mind).

Also how are you planning on attaching the turn signals to the core? Or are you just gona leave that part of chevy grill on there?

yea i have a jimmy with an xenon cover on it, and there is only a gap under the headlights.
so to fill those gaps, i would have to get blazer grill, headlights, and turnsignals???

x_concepts unfortunatly not much a had a really crazy christmas break and did get much done, however i did for the most part get everything mesured up i just need to started cutting it apart and rebuilding it. next time i am home from college i will get it done.

if you do shave the chevy sign you might have some touble finding a billet grill if you use the 98 grill, i am not sure out the 99+ grill.
