Post 2nd gen Blazer frame to 1st Gen Blazer Body

Can this be done? I already know about the bumper mounts. How about the body mounts, motor mounts and tranny mounts. In other words can I take of all my drivetrain and body and switch it over to a 2nd generation 2wd blazer frame?

    Thanks

    Post .........

We'll I had some frame damage and was thinking about changing over the frame. 2nd gen frames being sturdier was my reason. Finding someone to fix the frame damage I HAD was my primary concern.

why do that the newer frames are much stronger seeing as how the entire frame is boxed as compared teh teh 1st geans ar boxed to the fron of the cab then right before the rear end

I know this is really old but..... I am wondering if this works for s10 p/u also because I was coming home from a car show and hydroplained into a 3ft. enbankment & I bent my frame so I'm hoping I can swap 2nd generation body to the 1st generation frame.........
