nice find Mark.....not sure if I got the performance one when my pump went out 6yrs ago

I just read a review where the guy bought the performance pump and took the back plate off to verify it was the performace pump and it was the standard replacement, not the performance pump....he went through 3 before he gave up.

edit: nope didn't get the perfromance one when I replaced it. Looks like this would give me an excuse to flush the cooling system.

yeah i did, ran green stuff in everything. I am however considering going back to Dexcool because it has a higher coefficient of heat transfer than green stuff.

I ended up grabbing two gallons of house brand green stuff because they only had one gallon of dexcool in stock.

I'm staying with dex, been running it for bout 9yrs. The issue I had was not flushing my heater core out when I did the motor swap. That left green to mix with dex and my intake gaskets went. I need to find a good way to flush my system without tap water. I think I'm going to drain the dex and run just disstilled water for a day or two a drain that then fill with dex 50/50
