    01 grille question

    ok, friend of mine got a billet grille for his 01 s10, but were a little leary of what to cut n what not to cut, so my question is can ne1 put it into words a little better on what/where to cut than the instructions

    what kinda of grille?? cant answer any questions without knowing..like a billet grille insert?? like street scenes billet grill inserts?? you dont cut anything out, u can just ziptie it to the existing grill in the back..its the easiest..also they come with mounting brackets as well so u dont need zipties

    no its a insert but u have to cut out the factor mesh style shit, the instructions give all the technical terms but i cant understand that shit, but things have to be cut out. and i dont like the bolt on style, looks cheap

    where did this grille come from? if you got it off ebay and its a generic brand .. THROW IT AWAY.. i bought one of them and you have to cut your entire grille apart and in the end it looks like SHIT

    It doesnt look like shit if you do it right.

    Is it a 1 piece insert or 2? If its 1 piece, start off by cuting the black stock mesh out. Then put the insert against the grill on the back and mark where you need to cut sections for the vertical poles. Then trim the ends of the stock grill on the back untill the insert falls in and looks fairly flush with the outside of the grill shell.

    Should look similar to this when you're done:
