installed Belltech Torsion keys on the blazer

well guys today hopefully is the day this is getting done. ive been waiting to do this all weekend. well to begin its a 98 4x4 blazer 4dr. already droped 3/3 (torsion bolts backed out upfront, blocks in rear)
    with the 18's i get a 4/4 drop now with the 45's.

so today im putting in the beltech keys upfront, we lowered toolowtoogo's blazer yesterday and my leafsprings are shot so i took his stock leafs and pulled 1 leaf out to give it a little more of a drop with the billstiens in the back. and im putting in all new lowered belltech bumpstops. got some pics of the current progress lol just waiting for george and some buddies to arrive to give me a helping hand

got the front end all jacked up, just enough so the wheels are off the ground and i got enough clearence, just picked up this jack today from sears 3.5 ton craftsman jack with jackstand..and i went to autozone and rented the 2 jaw puller. it came to 43.40 exact if anyone wants to get one

about to head out and take it for a ride see how it is, but the thing is slammed, i kept the bolts where i had them before i put the keys in, and the tires were resting on the fenders i was like  then i cranked the bolts all the way in, the fenders sit 28" in the front, ill have pics later tonight, its slammed, didnt get a chance to put the leafs in yet, but it looks like an extreme

got some pics up..ill get more in the am, i was getting so frustrated trying to remove the key from the torsion bar on the passengers side, i didnt get any install pics, just after pics pretty much.

What i am putting in, i just need to get the leafs in now and the rear bumpstops, the fronts all done

    Before

After - this is with the adjuster bolts in the same spot as where i had them when i backed them out to drop the front

obviously i couldnt ride like that lol so i backed the bolts to almost all the way in. this is how it sits right now

ill get more pics in the morning on how it sits

i do recomend to anyone who backed the bolts out, to get the keys asap and do it the correct way before its to late. from my bolts being backed down for so long, with the keys in, im having alot of balljoint creaking upfront on every turn, so i have to have that checked out. and i guess i need a new alignment again, i just got one last week when i had the wheels put on, i dont wanna tear up 165 dollar tires. but ill have to pay nother 60 bucks :(

hope ya guys like, i was really surprised with the drop, when the bolts half in, the fender was just about on the wheel the wheel well was was sitting at 26 inches from ground, with the bolts almost in its sitting 28.5 inches and sits nice, i cant wait to get the rear leafs in..im just afraid of something happening up front with the creaking and the alignment..

i put the front bumpstops in, but i still bottomed out tonight and had metal hit metal. maybe i put the wrong ones in? anyone know, belltech gave me 2 round small bump stops and 2 bit larger square bump stops ,the round ones we put upfront, was i correct?

when i had mine lowered, i had the spuare ones on the front so the lower control arm didnt hit the frame. the round ones i never put in the rear but what i did later was take the bump stop that keeps the upper control arm from hitting the frame when you jack it up and swapped the two because it was squishy. hope that makes sense but it looks great with the drop. im happy to see you do so much work so fast to the blazer.
