    got new 4x4 need advice

    ok as most of you know, i was selling my other truck in the classifieds, and i mentioned a ZR2 i was selling as well. so im taking the ZR2 over as my new ride, and i need help with a shopping list of what i need to lower a stock ZR2. id like to make an xtreme style blazer w/o making into one completly. can someone throw me a line here?

    Not going to be able to lower it significantly because of the suspension mounting points on the zr2. At best you will be able to lower it to a stock s10.

    there is no way to lower like 3/4 4/4 at all? isnt there any kits to do so?

    Sure you can throw a 4 inch block in the back, and crank down the torsion bars (about 1 or 2 inches) But because of the zr2 design (frame mounting points) you're going to be at about a stock s10.

    how would that look though? with some wheels and xtreme kit possibly...but i like the idea though. what are the torsion bars where are they and how do i do so? i also heard about the bumpstop removal in the front too. can that help?

    there is no way to make a ZR2 sit low to the ground. The leaf spring perchs are alot bigger then the normal blazer and the rear axle is wider, and the front control arms are wider then the normal blazer. So if you were to crank the t-bars down and put some wheels on it, they would stick out pretty far. and the rear wheels would stick out to because of the wider rear end. I dont think they make an offset that would compensate for the wide track. And if you did lower it it would sit as high as a stock blazer with wheels stickin way out
