    rearend gear swap

    so if i pull the gears out of a 90 4x4 blazer.. can i put them in my 88 blazer?

    since your is a 4x4 you will have to change the front and rear diff... and unless you know someone who is willing to set up differnet gears then your better off pulling the whole rear assembly/diff

    now you wont have to use the front diff if you disable you 4wd or never use it, but as soon as the 4wd is engaged the wheels will try to spin at a diff speed if the gears are not the same

    its not that bad swaping a rear, i was done in a few hours by myself on the ground, and that included rebuilding brakes 11 billion times

    and front diffs arent to teribly bad

    its a day job
