x2, its almost like they were trying to weld it too cold and the tacks/beads were just sitting on top with little ot no penetration.

Yea, you should probobly go over them again and crank up the heat. Does the welder have enough amperage? 175 amps is pretty well the minimum, and then it would be cranked to the highest settings.

    Settle down kids....

I admit, the weld looks like poo, but that is after a nice bead went down on both sides of the hole in the frame. It will be ground down & rewelded, & ground some more.

It's not quit rolling yet... some adjustments need to be made first... and the bags need to be installed to lift it off the ground.

Also the front is 1/2" from lying out... I think the lower control arm is still hitting the frame I guess some more cutting is necessary.

This may be a dumb question but should you not have a pivot bushing on at least one side of your links? What happens when one rear wheel is up and the other is down? Wouldn't things bind w/o a pivot bushing?

Also, is that mild steel DOM tubing? What diameter and thickness is it?

    Thanks,
    -Matt

They bind, but the poly bushing allows some play so its not a big deal.

while we are on the subject can someone explain sd's super pivot joints? they seem like they would unscrew? I don't get it are they supposed to just allow the bar to pivot up and down or twist?

Truck looks really good so far. Link looks nice I like the setup. Are you planning some time later on to lay on a bigger wheel? Just asking cause the notch is really huge for what your laying on right now.

You also going to be running stock rear seat?
