I've got 18x7 on there now I tried 20's I went to six places to get some fitted after layin it frame every place could fit it with 20's and they tucked nicely it hit alittle up front but nouthing that came up threw the roof the only problem we keep running into was the backspace when turning it at the lowered standard height and these things were 245/40R20 michelin it could work I just didnt feel the need to hack up more up front the back was no problem the ass hit the ground nice. just up front. this can be done Dont let anyone tell you it can't cause I had these Muthas on it.
you just need to do alittle work up front I like my 18's but now I wish I went on and done the extra work to get my turning clearance Because its the bragging rights of saying "yeah man I got 20's"

cutting torch, this fag that lives down the street from me has everything i would need installed in the back of his truck but says he doesn't do work on automobiles, so i told him i would be the one doing it and he still said no. i'm probably not going to save the factory rear seats because i was looking through my auto graveyard and found an old laser hatch that has some pretty nice buckets in the back but they are black instead of blue, but they will fit with a little massaging, i love putting different seats in truck, i had an old 89 chevy pickup that i put in heated caddilac leather seats, my s10 lowrider has convertible lebaron buckets that give it the ultimate ride with them being power adjustable and all, i was gonna put the front seats out of the laser to but they are torn all to hell

Hey Lay Low, what all did you order for your kit (brands and stuff) and how is it working out for you? also how much was the final bill for? thanks again.

also, do any of you know of any good books or anything that gets into the detail of how an air suspension works?

I dont have hydros any more but I do still Have the pumps & dumps. I had Reds Pro-Series this was on a 87 S10 back in 97. I had front, back, and side to side. My set up consisted of two-chrome#8 series Pumps, two pump & dump set ups, two-8"cylinders, two 10" cylinders, four donuts, four regular cups,
two 15-1/2 foot hoses, two 4'-hoses,four 6 prong switches.four 3 prong switches, and last but not least on 12 foot switch cord, I think thats everything.I still have some of this stuff around here somewhere,I think and back then I think I paid like 500 or 600 hundred and like I said it worked well and I do miss the response
time that you dont get from and air bags but I dont think I would go back to hydros. with bags its a hell of a lot better ride you dont have to clean the acid from the battery pan. And beside its more relieable. I was fixing something under there every week, dumps, bent donuts not to mention all the alinements and tires its ok for a weekend driver but something you drive every day its more bad than good bags are more relieable.
