    a new concept......lift

im looking at (and very close to buying) a 95' blazer 4 door 4X4. i have a lowered blaze...i was kinda thinking of a lifted one now...you know...to park side by side. i was looking around but dident find anythiong i really was looking for. i know i can get any size body lift i want, but im not sure whats all involved with the suspension lift. is it just the keys i have to worry about in front or what eles can i do? and for the back do i just get different leafs or what are my options there? in all i think im looking for a 4 inch suspention and a 3 inch body if all the linkage will allow that.

    any help is greatly apprieciated

u can use shackles in the back for a lift, my bud had a 4x4 blaze with 2wd blazer rims on it so it gave it a wide stance, then he we cranked the t-bars up in the front and out back we used a cheap shackle set and it gave him about 2in up front and 3 in the back, but it seems to make more of a difference goin up then down! you could always get a longer bolt to run in your keys so it would push them up farther!

6" suspension lift + 2" body lift on 31" tires. I have a picture of a fridge pack of coke stood on its end about 6" under the bumper, but my webserver is down right now. :(

Don't you just love that gap between the body and the frame on body lifted trucks when your sitting behind them at a light? It can be done to look decent there is a couple trucks where I live that look good with one but if you aren't going to take the time to do it right just save up for a suspension lift that will actually be useful to you.
