    i just put my engine back together after blowing a head gasket... i coudnt get it to start because i had the distributer 180 degrees out... so i flipped it and cranked it over one turn and vroooooooooooom!

    are ur sure ur distributer even dropped in? and dropped in at the right place?

    2000 Cap

    Sorry, listed wrong year....not 2000.....

    Cant find a pic...but number one should be marked....it should be the connector under the door on the right of the cap, then you wire it clockwise.... using the firing order...

    ok, phat we're pretty sure we did have it in all the way seated... but whether or not it was 180 off or not was the question.. but the whole timing gear thing has us worried... so we also have our mechanic coming over to help this weekend, and hopefully we'll get this bad-boy running this weekend come hell or high water....
