yeah with mine i did the other route and started the screw inside the truck, so on teh top hole you screw into you can see the point of the screw showing throught... doesnt look to good but im sure i can get that fixed up when i get the body work done.

I had to start mine from the outside. Mine came with a universal adapter and it filled in the space on the door. I drilled holes and then taped the bolts to the adapter and then screwed on the mirror. I run the bolts in the door and then tighened down the nuts on the other side. That way they are covered by the door panel so no one can see them. It was not easy but it took a while. It was well worth it. You should see the looks I get from people. It's really cool.

lol  must just be me but i havent really been able to figure out how any of you guys have done it...im lost on all that...the way i did mine was i took a small drill bit and drilled through the factory holes that away on the inside i could tell where the holes where.....then i took a qtr inch drill bit and drilled holes from the inside bust not all the way through to the outside of the car just through the first part of the door.then i took screws with large heads and held the mirror up and screwed it on and tightened it down. I dont know if anyone will know what im talking about or not:rolleyes: hopefully you do though.

I know what you mean but there is more then one way to do it. It's up to the person to figure out how they want to do there's. As long as it looks good it does not matter how it is done.

Update:My avalanche was totaled by my ex-gf. My business is in ruins. I now plan on finishing the engine repairs to my Saturn, and sell it. Once I get the bills paid off, I'm going to fix my Blazer.

I don't have a roll pan yet.:( I've been spending all my money trying to keep the 2.8L engine running. Now I've thrown a rod. :gunfire: :blazer: The blazer has now become my secondary project. I'm going to the junkyard tommorow. I have to find a 305 or preferably a 350 for my '90 box Caprice. The Caprice is going to be my daily driver. I might as well do my list of to do's (BD, new frame, new suspension, 383 w/trans. and rear, weld up the hole in the floor, bolt the seats to the floor , ect...).

Hey guys those mirrors we are using I found out something about them. You should check out this site. The blue leds are not what I thought they were. By this site they are driving lights. So I'm gonna hunt me down a way to rewire mine to make them work. This is the site you should see. They have others to choose from also. I hope this helps someone. They have other parts here also.
