Fuel injected. I fucking hate trying to start my dad's POS Ford in the winter. Maybe it's just the Ford. :p: (He wised up and bought a 2500HD Duramax turbo, which adds to the reason why FI is better. :bigthumb: )

Carbs are simpler for the average person to customize for the average mods.

Fuel injection will run better over a wider range of conditions and get better gas milage but like FABIANSS357 said--- once you get beyond "near stock" on injected you better have the equipment,

although the mapping programs appear to becoming more and more user freindly. Nothing a little dyno time can't cure

Old Quadrajet on my 283. Not sure what kind of carb is going on the 350 when it goes in this winter. Probably Edelbrock.

get a truck that is oroginaly a 4.3 tbi motor and swap to a 350 tbi motor, mine is getting kinda hard to start but 215,000 miles is mostly the culprit

when swapping a 4.3 tbi to 350 tbi all you ahve to do is rechip the ecu put 350 injectors in the TB and change the electronic spark contorller (i think thats it)

everything else is jsut like a stock v8 swap
