    how can i hop-up a 4.3?

i am hoping to get a blazer in the next few weeks, and i have decided i want to beef up the motor soon too...here is what i ave planned...

    throttle body spacer
    bigger tube for intake
    chip
    headers
    flowmaster exhaust
    possibly a cam
and i think that is all...
My dad estimates i will come out to around 230 horsepower, what do you think ill be getting? Also, what should i add to get around 250?
    Thanx

if it is tbi and you dont have alot of money then just flip your air breather lid and get a k&n filter
dont know much hp it will give you but is a cheap way to get it

    whoa whoa whoaaa............
okay first its not a carb, its TB as far as i know

    instead go with this

Cam (to help the 4.3 to get to those high RPMs)
Headers + flowmasters/ditch the catalytic converters if possible
    Black Magic electric fan
    then later get

    Holley 670cfm TB
    Intake manifold.

then you should be about 230-245

These mods are a bitch to put on but if your gonna soup it up do it right the first time. TB spacers and other stuff you see in "Truckin" and othermagazines are good for like 3 HP, unless your rich, dont bother with one until you run out of the other bolt ons. There alright but the money would be better spent elsewear. Just my 2 cents...

    The best mods that I have done are;

    E-fan
    headers
    underdrive pulleys
    cold air intake

    in that order.
