    lol 4300 on old stock springs and lifters your nuts

    is it stock cam? can the springs handle it

    Haha. Who knows. I've revved it up way passed 4300 before and it hasn't had a problem at all. Still runs purdy, minus getting too much fuel....
    I'll replace the heads eventually. I should have changed the valve stem seals at least. Hmm....

    I'm contemplating putting on some glasspacks to help quiet it down... Hmm...
    Depends how quiet it idles after I get the fuel problem fixed. We'll see.

    Even with the glasspacks your going to have some drone dude, its the exit underneath thats doing it all.

    Yeah. I thought about it some more today and I kind of like the way it sounds... I think it's just the idle that pisses me off, but that'll get better soon as my damn fuel injectors get here. Grr.

    Hey, just thinking, have you ever adjusted the timing since you put headers on? Im thinking when you get the timing where its supposed to be it will be pinging pretty good if you indeed have 11:1 compression, i wonder if you have it retarded right now? Just thinking.
