I think the one I bought was $18 or $20 from Chevrolet, I can't remember. Autozone, O'Rielley's or whatever does not have the correct ones. I learned that the hard way.

Lycan - don't take this wrong, but we had this conversation a couple of months ago. I told you then not to scrimp on the sensors.

If a $20 part is making your life miserable, I will buy it for you.

    :D

And - I don't do paypal. I'll tell ya what - if this makes your truck run (and I believe it will), send whatever you think its worth to Mike to add to my donation to the site.

Very courteous of you, Toals. I will donate money to Mike if this does in fact fix my truck. :)
Due to donate about anyways, and I only donated $5 last time...:(
Toals, Thanks a lot. Sorry for not mentioning it earlier.
I'll make sure my blessings go to you and your wife. Thanks again.

Ok, I was going to say, I was wondering why you were going to get one and send it when he could get it for the same price at a parts store. Thats kind of you.

Well, In my view, Fuel injection is more reliable, more efficient, starts faster, and I like dealing with computers more than mechanical. If something happens I can just switch out the sensor normally...
    And I hate carb :p:

Ahh.... I know... But it started faster that way...:(
Normally I have to turn it over like 3 (nuh uh) noises (I'd imagine the compression strokess, so 3 pistons have to move before it starts. I probably need a new starter... This one has dealt with me trying to start it including the 305 engine I had before.. It's probably been hooked up to 3 different batteries' lives since I've had it..

well, if anything, wide open throttle is going to make it start easier not pumping. So try that if you need to start it before you get your ect.

Ok. I rebuilt the throttle body but that didn't solve any problem. I still need to fix my electrical problem with my truck where the gauges still aren't function right too. I took the gauge's fuse out so I could turn my engine off... I'll have to look into that deeper I guess.
