the marker lights and roof rack are gone.....headers are on the list. first I have to bring the front down another 3". have to get the drop shocks for the 4x4 then I will notch the crossmember.

they are designed very poorly, the first time you get on it your gonna bust a mount

just look at how they are designed, metal plate/rubber/metal plate

there isnt even any interlocking metal in the rubber, its just metal bonded to rubber

ps- edit your pictures there freeking huge

i doubt that, they are prolly broke and you dont know it

i managed to break both of mine, with my stock v6 with 230,000 miles on them

both had been replaced about 1 month prior, once i broke them again i got hi performance mounts

I'd know a broken motor mount if I saw or felt one. I had a hot rodded Buik Skyhawk. hopped up 3.8 liter backed by a turbo350 tranny. I broke motor mounts in thet like they were going out of style.

THANKS YOU for saving that poor 4x4 blazer! You've already made it much happier I can tell. hehe

Looks like you got a good start, hows it run?

Oh yeah, why didnt you get the 2.8 mounts, and conversion mounts? the 2.8 is completly surrounded in steel and only cost like 12 bux?

Be that as it may, even the stock 4.3L is notorious for destroying it's motor mounts. ES either has or is about to release an interlocking poly replacement mount, or you could contact Boosted Thrills for some different 4.3L frame pads that allow the use of of the ES small block poly mounts. I have a set of small block mounts on my hotrodded 4.3L, because when I pulled the motor to rebuild it, the driver's side was in two pieces, the tranny mount was in two pieces, and the passenger mount was badly torn but hanging in there. That was almost 4 years ago, and today the mounts still look like the day I put them in.
