If you can, just look for the explores since they have the right spring mounts,

panda_man22, if your wanting to run a 10" up from, forget about it.

The 10" rims would most definetly be for the rear

I believe the 99 ranger has a 8.8 rear. Are you sure it measures 52.5, cause that would be a direct fit for a 2wd S10
84 xCab S-15. No longer ugly but still quick

8.8 ranger rear is 1" narrower than the explorer rear.

8.8 ranger rear has smaller tubes and 28 spline axles.

8.8 explorer disc and drum rears are the same width.

ranger will be almost perfect legnth interchange narrowed

explorer rear will be 3/4 inches per side longer.

either rear can be narrowed by having long side cut and buying 1 extra short side axle. This will also center the pinion as GM does anyway.

    Can any one verify this?
