Sweet, the bolts I'm still on the fence with, I see your point but then I don't know put like some black tape on one side then leave the chrome on the other then deside. Either way they look bad ass!!! :bigthumb: :bigthumb:

    That is awsome looking.
What has everyone that has seen it in person think? It's one thing us making comments, knowing the things you have pointed out to us, such as the bolts and the color of the plates.
I'm thinking at a casual glance, the black might work better, but having discussed it here, I'd focus on it. Get what I'm saying.

Has anyone just checking them out noticed the plate or bolts?

ive caught cops, and people looking at em'. all my coworkers were doggin me about what i was doing until i had it done, they were like " well now that i see em' they look good" . dont know if they're legal but ill find out. work for bikes y not trucks? everyone asks me how do you see out of those, and i cant. but i turn my head to look now. theyre angled to the side a little so when i look out them they show the next lane over. good for blind spots for now.

but ill get em aimed better later with angled washers.

got a little distracted with my broken dryer im fixing at home.

thanks for all the support, this is my first thread for my own little project.

im pretty laid back and stuff like that dont really bug me. thought about it but the way i would do it would be with spray can. its towards the front of the truck and didnt want to take a chance of it chipping.

plus i might be painting the truck that nice flat black in the future.
i dunno, it looks good enough for me for now.

im focusing on getting them mounted right so i can use em, bad angles.

You would need to get them stripped, paint does not like chrome.
