    My 88 had alot of torx screws to hold it on. So did the other 5 blazers I've had. Except my first one a 86. It didn't have a rack on it from the factory.

    i broke a torq bit off in my roofrack....i didnt know their were studs under the headliner........then came the sawzall:bigthumb:

    Theres torx in craigs 96 also.
    And if it hasnt been mentioned, use a piece of copper to back the hole and simply weld the hole shut. The copper wont stick to the weld and will suck out almost all the heat.
