That is one that I missed. I have three more holes to fill and that one to sand down. I didn't get it done like I needed to due to the weather. It was too windy and I was told it was going to ran. I have to finish them later. I ran out of putty and primer. It ran a few hours later that night. I show a pic when I get the rest done. After I primer the whole truck I'll have to go back and wet sand it so that it will be smooth to the touch. Then If I'm lucky it will be ready to paint. I'm not an expert. Hell I'm far from it. But it's worth trying.

work looks great your startin to get the hang of bodywork. weather can play a harsh part of production b/c primer/putty/bondo has to be a certain temperature to dry. one question though, why the wing? i only thought ricers had wings, looks *different* IMO

Well the wing came from seeing a couple of trucks out here have one. And my factory one would always rattle when my stereo was on. Everytime that I've had the factory one they would also rattle or the screws would alway be loose. So I decided to get the wing. It doesn't rattle and I don't have to worry about the screws coming loose. It's not tall like the ricers use. I like it cause it goes with my m3 mirrors and the side marker lights I have in my front fenders. Plus it different. The top of the truck looked to plain without something up there. I didn't want to be like everyone else and leave it plain or use the factory one. I just wanted to be different.

Hey that's cool. Good luck finding something better. Post pics when you get to. I looked for others and all that came up was the texas tail when I looked. That's why I got the wing. It doesn't hang over the edge of the truck and it does not stand tall. It was the best thing I could find and I know it should only be on a honda but I like it alot. It is different and that's what building a lowerider is all about.:bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb:

I carry a tape measure around with me and measure cars all the time...I have found several factory wings that are close to what I want. I need to get the numbers from a new Colbalt ss and a saturn Ion..those both look nice and should fit.

Yours looks fine, but I want a low profile fiberglass one, thats looks somewhat factory on there. I think yours looks nice, but it isnt what I want for mine..that's all..

I finnally got the top done. I didn't have any thing welded shut. The shop really didn't seem to want to do it. So I got me some JB Weld and a couple of pennies. I taped them to the underside of the roof and put the jb weld on the outside then sanded it down. I will have to go over it with bondo to finish it off but it is done now. I'll post some pics in a day or two. I've had alot going on here. But it does look alot better then the lines and holes it had.
