    221k on the daily and still going strong. The hotrod's been rebuild twice, and has about 4k on the motor, 195k on the body.

    bought mine from a good old friend on mine at 264,000. now its over 274,000 and been driving it since aug. everyday!!! just a little oil leak not too bad. runs great so far.

    185k, rebuild 45k ago. all new guts but the crank. Doesnt give me a BIT of trouble. no leak or burn. milage sucks though.

    mine has 169,904. and thats all it will ever get now that the tranny is messed up and i dont want to fix it. now im droppin in the 350/ 700r4 sometime this year once i get enough money to build them up appropriately(sp):bigthumb:

    My 94 CPI has 120k with no hints of trouble. I'm strongly considering buying a 99 ZR2 with 295k (I haven't looked at it yet, but when I do I'll probably buy it).

    Mine is a 95 and it is at 120,647. The only problem it has is a small oil leak.

    my vortec blew the intake manfold an all my water mixed with my oil i drained the oil an rebuilt the top end 100 miles later mass destruction on my bottom end, my engine is shot i dont know what to do now i need serious help. my truck a 96 has 165,000 miles but my dads truck is a 95 blazer witch the vortecs are diffrent he has 190,000 some how is his engine is so clean no oil burned, his front seal or rear boath dont leek and his valve covers dont have any oil on them at all, i am amazed

    mines got 296,000 miles on it ... just now finally died ... still runs somewhat but i found a major amount of metal in the oil and it lacks power ... so im starting a 350 swap in a few weeks

    haha i thought i finally blew it, i thought it was dead, i gave it an hour to cool off and tryed to start it agan, its alive!!! cant kill a chevy. well its now worse than ever but o well

    I put a used one in myself a year ago. It took a shit 3 weeks ago. Just had a Cottmans put a new one in last week. That wasn't cheap. But you never know how long a used one will last.

    new motor has zero, havent finished the rebuild

    t56 has 35,000

    Sounds like you're a dexcool victim. Dump that orange crap out, flush the system really good, and refill with green or yellow. I think 96 was the first year for dexcool in the 4.3s, and it was notorious for intake gasket failures.

    That said, it's supposed to be nicer on the bearings if it ever does manage to get into the oil.
