Yeah, "as is" i think you'll find some nice slash marks on the outside of your tire before long

Well guys I am a redneck for sure. I went over to a local tire shop and he had a set of 315/60 BFG drag radials that didn't fit another customers car for $125 so I bought them. They stick out a little and will rub the fender a bit when the suspension bottoms out, but the price was right. Pics to follow, it's frickin' raining again.

Nice rubber, on that last pic, for a second i thought, damn still has ac condensor...... heh, that is a huge frickin cooler!!

But i dont see how the hell that isnt going to eat the frick out of the fenders/tires. Do you not have much suspension travel at all in the back?

I did not notch the frame and I have Beltech drop leaves and 3" blocks. There is about a finger width between the u-bolt and the frame. I have about a finger width between the tire and the wheel opening. I am going to see what happens when I take it for a ride and change things if I have to.

I still have to finish the fan shroud and readjust the rockers before I take it for a ride. Then my buddy needs to finish up my hood and I'll be ready to try it out at the track.

I will see what I can do about action shots once I get it on the road.

After I get the fans/shroud finished I will go back to massaging the rear fenders. I will do a little more pie cutting and radius the fenders out a little and see what happens. I gotta do some body work on the areas anyways due to some bondo sculpting done by a "reputable" repair shop.

If I ever get my damned garage built, I plan on redoing the rear suspension and tucking the tires under and redoing the front also. I want to build a tube frame and have her sit about 3" off the ground at ride height with 26" tires up front and the 30 incher's in the rear.

I'm going to try 4.11's and go from there. I got the rear fenders butchered up today. Shouldn't have too many issues now, found more rust though when I cut out part of the inner fenders. I also finally got the fan shroud made and the fans mounted. The "To Do" list is getting shorter.
