looks real nice, I'm with most of you on the rims though. The 24s look nice but I would prefer a 20/22 combo and that's the absolute biggest I would go.

i agree...that 24" is as big as my 22" combo out back...i can almost guarantee you that i will enjoy riding in my truck far more than he will with those rubberbands out back...nice work though.

yea.... BD on 22's up front, u can STILL drive and turn. as long as he has decent bags that give enough lift, like some slams, hes good. i get at least 3 or 4 inches above my tire aired up and i can make U turns like no ones business. the tires are almost same as stock, and im pretty damn sure with the body 3 or 4 inches lower, he can do the same, he doesnt have to worry bout tire to frame clearence, unless he has like a 9.5 or 10in wide rim up front. and about the back wheels, the only thing stoppin him there are shitty roads, and thats his own damn responsiblity to look out for shit in the road. i think it will be a damn nice daily driver if he makes it a daily. i know mine will be once i do my BD, and i will hit switches all damn day long on the haters talkin crap. then i'll make a U-turn and do it again so they watch in amazement as im tucking just about half of a 22" wheel as im driving by:bigthumb:

The only thing that kept me from thinkin' this was gonna be a daily was the picture that said "full lift". He's STILL tuckin' rim up front so if that was full life he wouldn't be able to turn.

I read elsewhere though that he was using a cheap shop compressor to get the lift and with the compressor he's got for the truck he'll easily be able to untuck all the way.

Good on him if it's a daily though.

That brings up a question I've had for some time. Does a bodydropped vehicle make for a good DD? I don't see how it's structurally any different (other than the obvious) so I would assume that it would drive exactly the same.

id say yea if its done right, i have had 2 friends with BD trucks that were used daily, one was a newer ranger, and the other was an Isuzu like mine. its all in how well the BD is done and how well the owner takes care of the vehicle. the only time i wouldnt drive a truck daily is if its a "show" truck and everything has got to be immaculately clean....

but in some vehicles the steering wheel is really close to the driver seat, and the roof might be too close and it would be uncomfortable to drive everyday

yeah, but does your truck lay frame and body? once you bring the body down that 4 inches...you loose 4 inches of lift which means you would still tuck.
Looking at that truck, if that is his full lift, the only driving he is gonna do is straight on the trailer, straight off the trailer. And his U-Turns would take about an hour of "shimmying"

too me it is just barely a step above bigchrome.com

and that would be the reason why my truck can lay 22's, but is sitting on 20's.....I like to cruise my investment.

The caption under picture says its a full lift so I dont see how he is gonna drive that and why...

I also think those rims are gay and should have been left on the shelf for cutlass owners.

Other than that everything else looks bad ass.

the work looks good. i was thinkin about running wheels that big but its pointless IMO. they cost so much money and you would wouldnt be able to drive it. i wanna drag my shit everyday.
it would be easier with more money.

I forget where I read about this truck but as I said up a couple of posts he said that he just used a cheap shop compressor so that's not the FULL lift. Just the full life that a cheap compressor would give...
