Static drop is using steel parts to lower your vehicle witout being able to adjust it easily. A adjustable suspension is the opposite an example is either airbags or hydraulics. A body drop is litterally lowering the body on the frame. Bd is a lot of work and involves a whole lot of cutting and welding. Don't try this at home kids!

I'd do a static drop with a body drop. Like a 4" body drop, with only drop spindles and lowering leaf springs. A good 6" drop, will handle like a mother, and ride better than factory. I'd do it only with a static drop cause usually it handles better than bags. And you loose that frame from hanging down.

STATIC DROP- when you lower a car or Truck without being able to readjust it after its installed. Like for instance. I used to have a 4/3 static drop. 2" drop spindals, 2" drop spindals, ans 3 inch blocks out back. I couldn't make it a 5/5 drop or anything... just 4/3.

now I have bags and it can go from like a 7inch drop up front to stock position and everwere in between. that is not a static drop.
